PHOENICIA. Aradus. Caracalla, 198-217. AE (Bronze, 33 mm, 17.61 g, 1 h), CY 476 = 217/8. AYT K M AYP ANTⲰNINOC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. APAΔIⲰN / Є - ZOY Cypress tree; to left, bull standing right before signum surmounted by human hand; to right, lion standing left before signum. BMC 383 corr. (Elagabalus). Rouvier 226 corr. (Elagabalus). A large and impressive example of this interesting issue. Very fine.
